Exercising: the struggle is real…

Exercise: Either one loves it or hates it. I for one, am not a fan to say the least!

When I was younger (like many) I was a bean stalk and I could eat anything, any time and eat like there was no tomorrow! Weren’t those the days!

But, then the 30’s arrived and I was like…”Hmmm what’s going on?!? I feel that 2am taco run is still with me weeks later!”

The hardest thing to comprehend is, I have always been highly active, move at the rate of light and always in motion. But, taking 30 minutes to 2hrs out of my day to purely exercise was not my thing and was never needed.

I am married to a true workout lover and it shows, which is amazing! My Polish Prince aka my husband, has loved the art of working out since a young age and enjoys it to the fullest and is his favorite hobby!

I, on the other hand, would rather stick needles in my eyes LOL! I am one of those that likes to see results immediately, instant gratification and would prefer to do a workout and loose 10 pounds! And of course, without changing my diet either!

Obviously, that is not realistic or going to happen. One must change the mindset and focus to maintain a lifestyle that makes them feel good and love themselves.

I have been on this journey for quite sometime and will be sharing my struggles on it and really trying to let others know the struggle is real and you are not alone!

As if I had a dime for everytime I heard…“Well you clearly just don’t want it bad enough!” I would be a billionaire!

I wish others could understand that some struggle with the issue and it can be very difficult to deal with and mentally be exhausting! I do agree one must get to the point that they are ready to make the change!

With the new life change that has occurred in my life, I am hoping now is that time for me! As I so hoped in 2021 when I got married to lose the weight for our wedding and Cancun honeymoon, but it didn’t happen. Nor did it happen for our anniversary Cancun trip in 2022 or for this year, 2023.

I have decided for this year, to accept my weight (I am one that always dresses appropriately for my size and weight to feel better) and that I won’t let it ruin my trip about wishing I was something I am not.

I am a big believer in cheering others on, lifting others up and believing that anything is possible! When this occurs, everyone wins!

Follow along my journey on my blog & socials to see the progress, join in camaraderie and let’s lift each other up!

Until next time…
